First please try to (re)start the Web server from the NAS Linux shell:<\/p>\n[~] # \/etc\/init.d\/Qthttpd.sh restart
\nShutting down Qthttpd services: Qthttpd.
\napache: Could not reliably determine the server’s fully qualified domain name, using [your-NAS-LAN-IPhere] for ServerName
\nApache httpd is stopped.

Almost as expected – stop the Web server, restore the default Apache config file, and restart the Web server:<\/p>\n[~] # \/etc\/init.d\/Qthttpd.sh stop
\n[~] # cp \/etc\/default_config\/apache.conf \/etc\/config\/apache\/apache.conf

Thanks! That seems to work at least for the standard server (port 80). However, for the SSL connection (port 8081) I still cannot connect. Do I need to do something special to connect to this port ? (I am not sure I will use it for my web site but would be good to know).<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Assume you have SSL (https) enabled in the Web server configuration. Not spotted any more strange messages on starting the Web server from the shell?<\/p>\n

Check if there is a “extra” folder in the apache cocnfig directory – and the nessecary files:<\/p>\n[~] # ls -ls \/etc\/config\/apache\/ | grep extra

\n[~] # ls -ls \/etc\/config\/apache\/extra\/apache*

\n4 -rw-r–r– 1 admin administ 208 Apr 11 20:37 \/etc\/config\/apache\/extra\/apache-photo.conf
\n4 -rw-r–r– 1 admin administ 1592 Feb 6 13:10 \/etc\/config\/apache\/extra\/apache-ssl.conf<\/p>\n

If the folder exists, copy the default apache-*.conf files – similar as with apache.conf before. While we’re on it – also overwrite the factory default certificate in case you have no custom certificate installed:<\/p>\n[~] # \/etc\/init.d\/Qthttpd.sh stop
\n[~] # cp \/etc\/default_config\/apache-*.conf etc\/config\/apache\/extra\/
\n[~] # cp \/etc\/default_config\/stunnel\/stunnel.pem \/etc\/config\/stunnel\/
\n[~] # \/etc\/init.d\/Qthttpd.sh start<\/p>\n

That should do the job then….<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
